I can now supply and install these magnificent upgrade circuits by East-UK!

East produce amazing retro fit preamps that can be dropped directly into the cavities of most standard Jazz style basses as well as a number of other circuits to suit a variety of instruments.

Having recently fitted a couple of J-Retro circuits (including one to my own Lakland Joe Osborn 5 string) I can say that I am suitably stunned by the quality and the value of the units.

As an introductory offer I will supply the units at the list price and fit them for free provided they fit without removing any wood from the body cavities!

I’ve been fitting lots of dimarzio pickups lately and each time I’ve been blown away.

(even when its been on the more expensive Fender Jazz basses! )

I’m doing a fair bit of bass and guitar set ups right now and Its proving to be most satisfying work. Its amazing how having your instrument set up to its potential can boost your passion for playing. Whether its lowering the action, adjusting the neck or even a bit of intonation tweaking it makes your playing easier and your instrument more musical with improved tone.

Free lessons! – Rock The Talk

If you are a young person aged between 11 and 20 years, living within the Falkirk area, Rock the talk is a youth rock music project that includes opportunities to participate in workshops for guitar, bass, drums, vocals, keyboard, stage management and gigs at local venues.

I have two dates so far that you can book a 1 hour group lesson with myself as tutor. These are Subject to availability but more importantly thy’re FREE!

The sessions are on the 5th May and 2nd June 2009 at Bonnybridge Community Centre between 6 and 8PM
